How do I add the Faceit overlay to OBS?
Navigate to the Faceit Widget page, enter your Faceit nickname, customize the design, and click 'Copy OBS URL'. Then open OBS Studio, add a new Browser Source, paste the URL, and set the width/height as suggested. The overlay will start displaying your live stats immediately.
Does the widget update automatically?
Yes. The widget refreshes data every 90 seconds while open in OBS, so your Elo, K/D, headshot percentage, and match history stay up to date without any manual refresh.
Is the Faceit widget free to use?
Absolutely. All core features—live stats, multiple templates, customization, and the OBS overlay—are completely free. If you find it useful, you can support the project by joining our Discord or buying us a coffee.
What is Faceit Rating and how is it calculated?
Faceit Rating is an estimated performance metric. Since Faceit does not provide a public API for its official rating, we use the HLTV 3.0 formula, which considers kills per round, deaths per round, assists, ADR, and impact. It gives a solid approximation of your impact in matches.
Can I use the widget for other games besides CS2?
Currently the widget is optimized for CS2 and Faceit data. Support for other games or platforms may be added in the future—join our Discord to vote on upcoming features.
How do I add the !elo command to my Twitch or YouTube chat?
On the Faceit Widget page, scroll to the 'Twitch / YouTube Bot Command' section. Copy the generated Nightbot/StreamElements command and paste it into your chat bot's dashboard. It will fetch live Elo stats on demand.
What OBS dimensions should I use?
The recommended dimensions depend on the template selected. You can see the exact size (e.g., W: 700px | H: 120px) in the OBS Source URL section on the widget configurator. Use those values when setting up your Browser Source.
Can I customize the colors, fonts, and layout?
Yes. The configurator offers full control: multiple templates (Bar, Pill, Pro Split, Radar), font selection, background blur, corner radius, accent colors, and toggles for almost every element (avatar, Elo, level, region, history, etc.).
Does the widget work on StreamElements or Streamlabs?
Yes, the generated URL works in any broadcasting software that supports Browser Sources, including OBS Studio, Streamlabs OBS, and StreamElements (via custom widget).
What is the YouTube Chat overlay and how do I use it?
The YouTube Chat overlay is a CSS generator that styles your live YouTube chat for OBS. It removes clutter, lets you choose between transparent, bubble, cyberpunk, or glass themes, and gives you full control over colors, fonts, and visibility of avatars/badges.

Do I need a Faceit API key to use the widget?
